Autumn Harvest Wreath
Okay so there is this really cute "Autumn Harvest Wreath" from Crate and Barrel that I really want. It has all the colors that I am trying to incorporate into my family room and kitchen!! I wanted to post a picture but they don't have it online! Weird because they just sent me their magazine and it is in there. But anyways, I am hoping it goes on sale so I can buy it with the WEDDING money that Justin and I still have on our Crate and Barrel card (I know we are so crazy that we still have wedding money left!). Or maybe I will have to go around and see what the craft stores have so that maybe I can get crafty and make one just like it!!! But seeing I'm not very crafty I hope it will just be at the store and on sale so I can just buy it! But it is just really cute with orange, green, red, and brown!!!
Blood Pressure
Ah! Today when I went in for my Non-stress test they noticed that my blood pressure went up! Not a good sign. It isn't bad but it just went up slightly which means that I have to go in tomorrow to make sure it isn't going up more. So today I have to pretty much do nothing. They don't want me cleaning, doing laundry, etc, etc. I will keep the work down to a minimum but really I don't think I can just lay around all day.
But here is the update. So really on Thursdays I change weeks. SO really my due date is December 3rd and as of right now I am exactly 35 weeks!!! Can you believe I am really 35 weeks? Oh my goodness. I am getting pretty nervous as I think about it. So I try not to think about how far I really am. Next Thursday will be the 5th of November and I will be exactly 36 weeks, which I hope is when the babies will come. This will be a great time since Justin doesn't have class and then we have the weekend to recover and then come home before Justin goes back to school on Monday. This is what I am going to shoot for. Hopefully tomorrow my blood pressure will be fine and hopefully we can make it another week!! Please just keep us in your prayers.

What kind of DELIVERY would you pick?
Okay so things are still going really well. I just had a doctors appointment and everything looks good. The only problem is, as of right now, I GET to decide what kind of delivery I want. It might change but still the doctors want me to start thinking about the options. Since the girl is closest to the cervix and head down we can do a vaginal birth. However, the boy (who is a pound bigger) is breech and so I can either risk having him turn on his own or delivering him breech. The only thing I wouldn't want is to have an emergency c-section. So really I have no idea what to choose. Part of me just wants to do a vaginal and see what happens. I am hoping that this boy will just turn around and be ready to go on his own.
What would you pick? Safe, planned c-section, with long recovery time? Or vaginal delivery that could possibly go well and have an easier recovery? Hmmm. Well so far my blood pressure has been low and steady, which I am so glad about. Also my weight is tapering off. I actually lost two pounds according to their records, but I think it is just because I had an early appointment this time! I have another ultrasound next week which I am so excited for. Maybe the boy will flip!!
Sunday night I actually for the first time felt pain in my pelvis and lower back. It made me really nervous and I almost thought I was going to start having contractions. I think the most stressful thing has been thinking about leaving Carden. I really am going to be so sad to leave my little boy. I just don't know how I will deliver these twins when Carden will be on my mind. I guess I need to put together a plan about where Carden will go while my Mom is driving up. The the next day I had the same pain in my back and it really made me scared to think about going and delivering these babies. I still feel really nervous about the whole delivery. I am trying to stay positive though. I am also trying to not think about it too much since really it is out of my hands.
The only thing that has been a pain is going to sleep at night. I really can't sleep at all at night anymore and that is when I am so ready to just have these babies come out. During the day I have felt pretty good. I miss being able to bend over without this large belly in the way. But oh man I just can't wait until I can sleep comfortably the only problem is that I will have to be nursing all night long! Welp, that is that. That is how everything is going so far. I have everything ready with stuff being washed and clean and ready to go. I didn't stock up on diapers or baby wipes yet but hopefully Justin can go with Grandma on a costco run or something! Oh diapers!

Stress Testing
You guys are just all so sweet! I guess I will feel more like a cow when the nursing begins and never ends!! I'm really not looking forward to nursing. You really do feel like a cow! But I just wanted to post and say that NOW EVERYTHING looks good. Had my first Stress test which is now every week (well they want to do it twice a week but I'm not going to make that drive twice a week). They said the babies look healthy!

34 Weeks with Twins
Had the ultrasound today with the Perinatologist, Dr. Gilbert. He is such a nice man. The whole clinic was wondering why I hadn't come in sooner and I told them how I kept asking my doctor to refer me but they wouldn't. So lame. But oh well.
So tomorrow I will be at 34 weeks! This is crazy because my little sister delivered her twins at this time. Hopefully this weekend I won't go into labor. I really want to keep them in for at least two more weeks! But things are looking pretty good. I have been feeling good, but oh WOW all the weight is just CRAZY!
Here is the update. Blood pressure: "very good" hasn't been increasing and is low. This time it was 120/80. Weight: 165lbs (okay so really I am a COW! But I'm glad b/c the babies are GROWING!) The Boy is bigger 4 pounds 15 oz. and the girl is only 4 pounds 2 oz. Almost nine pounds of just BABY!! Here is the scary part. The boy is breech! Yikes. The girl is head down and last time was closer to the cervix. This time they didn't tell me who was closer. But anyways who knows what will happen. I guess I better just face the fact that I will most likely have a c-section. The boy will probably not change positions since they are now large and can barely move. I have a stress test tomorrow and hopefully all will go well. They just want to make sure that the little girl is still getting everything she needs and is not "stressed". I am glad to say that at least I am out of the scary zone. If I delivered now things would be pretty much okay.
Justin has a TON of things going on until November 5th so that is the date that we are trying to make. November 5th would be a great day to have the babies. Carden is April 5th and I am Jan. 5th!!! But maybe I could even make it to November 28th (justin is July 28th!). Well we will see! Alright that is it. I am so thankful for everyone who has helped me get this far! It is nice to know that I have a TON of support.

Carden and Daddy at the Park
Some more Thoughts
Wow, Justin and I are just go grateful for everyone who has already helped us prepare for these twins to come. We can't believe all the generous things people have just given us. For instance, I met this girl at the park the other day and she had fraternal boy/girl twins that were due exactly when I was due. She delivered them at 36 weeks so they came on November 9th! Their names are Emma and Ethan. How cute huh? But anyways we were talking all about the delivery and she was so nice telling me that everything will go well even if I have to have a c-section. We talked a lot about the doctors apts, stress testing, ultrasounds, and weight and nursing problems. It was great talking to her. She then told me that I could come by and have anything that we needed! Can you believe this? I couldn't believe she would offer a complete stranger things like a baby swing, bouncy seat, clothes, TWO infant carriers!! What a blessing it has been. Justin and I don't need anything. We even had my Aunt lend us a crib that is now set up in Carden's room. We will be using my Mom's pack-and-play for our room. We are just so thankful for the generous gifts and services that so many have given to us.
Then the girls in our ward threw a little get together baby shower for me! I can't believe they even did this. It was so much fun just having everyone there to celebrate and chat and eat some good food. I kept telling them that I didn't need a shower, but it really was nice being with all the girls.
My heart is just so full right now. I am so thankful for friends and family members and even strangers that have encouraged me to just keep going with this pregnancy! It has been such a strength. I really don't think I would have made it THIS far if it wasn't for all of you! I am so thankful that everything is going well. I really think that I will make it to the end.

33 Weeks
Well baby center just emailed me what is happening at 33 weeks. "Your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening." But this is happening to TWO babies inside me not one!! So really I am carrying close to 8 maybe 9 pounds in just baby!! I have an ultrasound this coming week so we will see how things are progressing. I have been feeling really good lately but it is still really HEAVY. I am all bandaged up which has really helped with this pregnancy with wearing the pregnancy belt and the compression stalkings. I feel like a CLOWN almost every day but it is well worth it to not have aching legs or feel like my baby is going to pop right out!!! I really can't wait to wear normal clothes and be able to sleep without all this weight!
Carden is just so much fun! I really can't believe that I am going to have two more babies to LOVE. My sister just had her fourth baby and she is just so cute. It made me so excited that I have TWO babies to love and take care of even though I know it is going to be so CRAZY! I really hope this time through that my hormones don't go crazy. I just remember what it was like after Carden was born and everything seems so BIG and everything seemed to be SO EMOTIONAL. I just hope I can keep my head and be more patient, loving, and understanding. I don't want to freak out if the babies can't nurse right away (but I know I will!) but still I don't want to freak out if they have to go to the NICU (oh but I will just be so sad). I just really want to have more faith with this whole transition. I know that it probably won't happen b/c when the time comes it seems like you turn into this different person. You feel so much stress since you are caring for MORE than just yourself. I just hope that anyone who comes to visit me that they will understand that things are just crazy after you have a baby. You don't feel yourself and your just so worried about every little thing. I just hope that maybe this time around that I will remember that everything DOES WORK out. All those small little things will recover themselves.
I am looking forward to having these twins. I really have started to like my doctors more and I really feel like everything will go well. I hope that I will make it until at least 36 weeks! I have decided to retire my rollerblading outings until after these babies are born! I probably will start walking less and hopefully will rest more.
Carden and I will just have to go to the library and sit and read. He is getting so good at pointing to things when I say "where is the dog? or cat? or balloon? or frog? or motorcycle? or bike?" It is really fun to see him think and be able to understand. He loves doing the monkey bars at the park. I can't believe how long he can hang on by himself holding his body weight! He also loves climbing up any ladder. He still drop kicks soccer balls and even balls smaller than that without missing! He loves to put his head on my belly and listen to the babies. He also loves to push in my belly button! I can't wait until that goes back in again. It is so embarrassing to have your belly button always sticking out. Thank goodness for innies.
As for the picture of the belly. Well maybe this Sunday I can get a shot so everyone can see the WIDTH!!! :)

Asia talking about her new sisiter!
It was so cute to see Asia run out of the NICU after seeing her baby sister for the first time! I was sad that I didn't have my camera out right when she was running down the hallway to tell Lois. She was running so fast and had the biggest smile on her face. "Lois I saw her...!" Asia said running up to Lois. Luckily I got my camera out to capture a little bit of Asia describing her sister to the rest of us that hadn't seen her yet! It was such a sweet moment.

New Cousin!
Well this has been quite a day with Carden going to nursery for the first time and also welcoming our new little cousin Emmy into the world! Carden survived the first hour of nursery and then just cracked up. He was probably so tired though since he stayed up for the WHOLE BYU football game the night before! Maybe next week will go better with a better good nights rest!
As for our new cousin... ohhh we just love her so much! She is so beautiful. I just can't wait to go see her again tomorrow! It was so sweet seeing her sisters sooo EXCITED! Asia just wanted to hold her forever! We all just want to hold her forever because she is just so perfect. We are so happy for the Glenn family. We are so thankful that we were are able to be a part of her arrival!

SMOKE
I hate our apartment. We have two new neighbors that LOVE to smoke outside their door. Now our apartment smells like smoke. It is so disgusting. I really can't wait until MAY! I hate that Carden has no where to play. People drive around our complex so fast so he can't even play around the patio. It is going to be sooooo hard when the twins come. I never want to live in an apartment complex again.

18 months
Carden is now 18 months, which means that he gets to go to nursery this Sunday! Wooo hoo. He is so excited (actually Mommy and Daddy are more excited!) But he also had to get his 18 month check up. Here are his measurements
Height: 33 and 1/4"
Weight: 26.6lbs.
Head: 49.6 cm
He has a LARGE head, 90th percentile! The twin have large heads too! It all comes from Daddy! Carden is going to be our little DENTIST (Mommy only hopes!) since he is so smart and is obsessed with toothpaste and toothbrushes!
Carden is growing quite well! He needs to start talking more, which means I should probably get rid of the binkie. He does say Momma, Dada, Where is it, More. bye bye, and I think that is about it. He loves reading books and we do read to him a lot so hopefully the words will come.
Carden SOMEHOW has LOW IRON? I don't know how it is even possible since he eats EVERYTHING!!! I really don't know what else I can do!
Family Night and PASTA!
Well for family night the boys decided to make dinner! Carden loves being in the kitchen with Daddy! He was helping him the whole time. Daddy made this YUMMY 11 layer PIZZA dish.

Birthday Time!
General Conference Weekend
We had a great General Conference weekend. Saturday morning started off with some boys playing basket ball. Then we ate crepes while watching the first session of General Conference. Then we had a yummy dinner and played outside while the men went to the Priesthood session. Then on Sunday we headed over to my Aunt Linda's house for some more yummy food and playing with lots of COUSINS!!!
So much going on!
Well Carden and I went down and visited the van Beevers and then headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was so fun playing with cousins and swimming. Thanks everyone for letting us come stay with you!
