NEW Trick and the YELLOW hat!

Ahh Carden just gets funnier and funnier!! He makes me laugh all day long (forget "8 Minute Abs" just head over to our house and watch Carden!) He is just so funny! His NEW thing is to crawl really fast to your feet and then drop down dead! Just look at these pictures. Carden actually fell asleep right after crawling up to his Daddy and pulling his little trick. He did it so many times that he just ended up falling asleep while Justin was still trying to play with him! Aww it was so tender! He was just dead asleep on the floor.

Carden just loves playing peak-a-BOO! He also loves anything SMALL!!! He goes around holding small little bath bottles or little lotion bottles, it is just so cute! He loves CARS, TRUCKS, anything with wheels! And if it doesnt have wheels... well he makes it go like it has wheels! It is so NEAT to just watch Carden listen to either me or Justin and see him understand! He knows how to go and get his "car" and his "ball". He is just so much fun! I can't express how much love and happiness this little baby boy brings into our home! Justin and I just love being parents!

The other day I went for a walk and put on Carden's little Blue beanie but he has decided not to wear anything on his head. Hayley just gave me this little yellow beanie that has a chin strap so I thought it would work. Hayley was telling me how it is a good beanie b/c the velcro is really sticky and can't be pulled off. Well, Hayley was right about the velcro but Carden still managed to get the chin strap from off his chin and was pulling so hard to get this beanie off. Oh it was so funny! Carden was crawling FULL SPEED even with only ONE eye on the LOOK OUT!!! Oh it just cracks me up!

I Spy...a crack!

Well, you never know what you'll see when visiting lovely San Francisco...Marin and I were fortunate enough to hike down to a NUDE beach. Actually only one little part was nude, but this bare-skinned fellow wandered over to our side, and these two guys actually asked him to take their picture! It was pretty funny. After hiking down that hill though to get to the beach in pants I was ready to join him! :)

A Day in SF

To celebrate MLK day we went to SF with the Glenn's. We went to Pier 39, ate some fish and chips from a street vendor, tasted Boudin's sourdough bread, visited the Ghirardelli Factory and went to the beach! It was like 70 degrees the whole day and made us all wish we wore shorts!

Nana Visits!!!

My dad (aka Santa) gave my mom a trip to Sacramento for Christmas and we were so grateful to get to spend time with her, and Carden's new "Nana". It was the last few days of my vacation so we were pretty lazy, but we did get out to see Valkyrie (which was very good/powerful), do some shopping, and visit my school. Here are some pics...

I'm a REAL Boy!

Carden is getting so big! He loves to play with cars. It always reminds me of Luke. I just love to see him push this little car around. Now I can see why my mom loved watching me push a little stroller around the neighborhood (even when only wearing a tutu and sandals in the middle of winter!) On January 4th (Sarah's b-day!) Carden just started talking. He is saying "Mmaaamaa, Naaannaaa, bbuuuubbaa, and there is one more I am missing, maybe it is the vaaaaavaa!" He's got the "Daadaa" down. He just loves his Daddy!

Carden just went to the doctor and actually gained a nice pound in ONE MONTH!! (thanks to those SEE's Candies that are making Mommy's milk CREAM!) Actually Carden is taking off with eating whatever I give him. Just all of a sudden he decided to only nurse maybe three times a day and then two times at night. I wish he would just cut out those two times at night (midnight and 5am). Carden LOVES tangerines! We took a whole bagful home from Grandma and Grandpa's house and he ate them up the next week.

Carden finally got to see his "Nana" which he was able to call out when she came (well we pretended that he knew what he was saying!) He had so much fun playing in the bath and reading fun stories! This is Carden in his new outfit he got for Christmas (pants from his cousin and new GREEN shirt from Nana) and his NEW SHAKE-N-Go Car!

Happy Birthday

Yes, it is true I am now 25 years old!
My Birthday was on Monday and it was a great day!
I got to sleep in while Justin played with Carden, since Justin doesn't start school until Monday.
We then went grocery shopping together since we had just got back from our Christmas vacation in Visalia. The best part was that I didn't have to CARRY in ALL the groceries myself and hold Carden! Then we went to Target and Walmart to return some gifts and we ended up finding some great deals! We were going to go to the mall so I could spend my Birthday money my parents gave me, but decided to go to Chipotle and get my SEE's Candy (thanks Mom and Dad). Then we went home and watched Mission Impossible I while eating Dark chocolate chip truffles! It was just so nice to be able to relax and spend the day with my family!

When we were in Visalia my Mom made me YUMMY Vanilla Cup Cakes with SPRINKLES! We had EVERYONE there (except the Mosleys, we missed you guys). Nesha and her family were also there! We ate some really good pasta that Justin made (Tomatoe, Zucchini, Basil) with homemade "Macaroni Grill" Rosemarry bread (thanks to Brynley's blog post), with a HUGE salad! We then watched Ratatuille. It was fun being HOME and celebrating my Birthday with my WHOLE FAMILY! It is just so weird how time flies. Just watching this little clip is crazy to see me blowing out candles while I have a cute little baby sleeping on my lap! You just think about all the years of making wishes and then you get to this point and there are really no more wishes to be made, everything is just so perfect!

I LOVE this picture! Cohen is so cute!
Trying to make CANDY APPLES!! Boys in their MATCHING SHIRTS from Santa!
What BABY GAP MODELS!
We luckily got to see James and Erin while they were driving through down to AZ! (we met up at Jack In the Box, where I had my first taste of their tacos....hmmm not so good:))
Where is KP? Man we should have taken a SISTER SHOT altogether! This is us with our yummy-but-no-so-good-looking CANDY APPLES we made! Look at those cute little tummies!
Want to try an Argentine Dessert? Peaches with Dulce de Leche.

Carden sleeping in his back bend :)

Justin and Me enjoying our German chocolate!!
Christmas morning and Santa was there!
Christmas Eve dinner was AMAZING! Justin made some authentic Argentine food. The night before he labored over the stove from 8pm-3am making Dulce de Leche for our dessert. Then at 3am Carden woke up and he rocked him to sleep. So pretty much Justin didn't get any sleep, but everyone sure loved the meal! Thanks Justin! You are a little Chef!
This is us shooting clay pigeons. Yeah and that is me closing my eyes as the gun goes off. I actually hit a few!! Justin hit a lot more than me though.
We played some baseball! Look at Asia go!
Justin and I decided to wear our Argentina shirts to show our Argentine SPIRIT!

Christmas Fun

We had such a great Christmas in Visalia, California visiting Grandma and Grandpa! We just had so much fun being on the hill and spending time with everyone! We really enjoyed our new tradition of having meals from around the world (missionary meals). It made every meal exciting and different! Thanks Mom and Dad for the great Christmas. We loved all the food, presents, and money! Here is just a FEW of the MANY pictures I took from our Christmas vacation. I tried to go in order of the events for journal purposes!

We met up with everyone on Monday December 22nd. We arrived in the evening and began the CELEBRATION with dancing!
