here's some pictures of the snake we found!
marin came in from delivering cookies to some friends and said there was a snake outside so carden and i ran out with a baggie and scooped it up. it was a california sharp-tail snake, which are very hard to actually find because i guess they are very reclusive and live under debris and stuff.

man, marin is finding all kinds of animal life in that apartment!!! good she is raising two sons to take care of that problem! reminds me of sam and his preying mantis... yuck!

Maybe this is why Im having a girl, and i will raise her to hate snakes as much as I do (ok, no, i wont pass my phobias onto her). I HATE SNAKES!!!
that is pretty awesome. i love finding little snakes like that in my yard, but i can't pick them up since we have copperheads and rattlesnakes in missouri where i am. i love finding little tree frogs and toads also.
