brooke and rhead at 6 months

they are both healthy and happy. well rhead is as long as he's being fed. i swear this kid would probably eat a double-double if we put it in front of him. he wants to be fed or held and talked to. otherwise he'll start whining!

brooke is the much calmer child, and almost always seems content. she's really started to laugh a lot and is definitely a totally different personality from rhead. it's funny how early on you can tell this kind of stuff.

anyway here's the official stats from the appointment:

brooke - 26.5 in long (78th percentile)
15 lbs 3oz (35th percentile)
43 cm head circ (70th percentile)

rhead - 28.5 in long (98th percentile)
16lbs 10oz (35th percentile)
45.7cm head circ (93rd percentile)

the appointment was very special because we also had to get carden a shot he missed so all 3 were crying! it was pretty sad...but they made it, and we got a strawberry shake at in-n-out as a reward.

as an aside...since school's been out (9 days) i've obviously spent a lot more time at home helping marin. i am amazed at what she does everyday. there are two of us and we go to bed exhausted at the end of the day. i don't know HOW she does this every day by herself, and how she's gotten through the last 5 months with me being at school so much.

so a special shout out to mother's everywhere, and especially marin, who might be the bravest most capable one out there!
