First Family trip!

 Our family finally took our own little vacation!  Poor Justin missed family reunions and all the trips to family all summer so we decided we better take advantage of his three day weekend!  We just headed over to Monterey to enjoy the cooler weather and beautiful ocean!  The kids loved it.  Justin loved it.  We wished to go down to San Diego but now we live SEVEN HOURS from there so Monterey had to do.  Its only a little under three hours which makes the drive a breeze with four little kids! 

 The weather was cool but we weren't complaining since this summer has been EXTREMELY HOT!  Over 100 for several weeks! 

 Daddy was brave enough to go into the FREEZING water!  The beach was so pretty and we saw tons of dolphins and a seal that stayed around all day.  I forgot to take pictures of them but the kids were so cute as they watched the dolphins jump into the air and splash around  (who needed the aquarium when its right here in real life!)

 The kids got in the water and loved playing football with Daddy on the beach!

 We brought their scooters and rode all around on the bike paths.  We rode down the beach towards the Denise the Menice Park to play until dark.

 Mckay was even getting pretty brave to go down the slide and pretended to ride the kids scooters around!

 We then rode our scooters down to mcdonalds to get ice cream!  It was such a cute little mcdonalds with lights hung outside!

 Haa haa look at those faces!!!  Boy were they excited about chocolate dipped cones!  They were HUGE and ended up melting too fast to even finish.  But they were YUMMY!

Thanks DADDY for our FUN family vacation!  Crazy to think that that was really our FIRST FAMILY TRIP!  It was VERY FUN and we sure are glad Daddy works so hard to take care of us!
